Q: I have a diabetic dog, which is currently under the care of a Veterinarian, who recommended using Prescription diet WD made by Hills. This diet is controlling the sugar level, however, I am unhappy with the ingredients and want to feed a better food. I ordered Wysong Prescription diet DiabidT , but when I supplement the Hill's with DiabidT the sugar level goes way up. Why is the sugar level fine with the Hill's diet, but when I add DiabidT (a better food) the sugar goes up?

W: There is no reason why such a lab result would occur with Diabid™ , since it helps stabilize sugar levels, not aggravate them.  If you examine the ingredients in DiabidT you will see there are no sugars or carbohydrates to cause such a rise. Perhaps something else is at play or the blood test needs to be re-examined.
