I have been reading about the FDA saying all pet food companies are at risk for Salmonella. I am 6 months pregnant and I am concerned about this risk. Could there be salmonella in my Wysong? What are you doing to make sure it is safe?

All extruded and canned Wysong foods are processed in such a way as to destroy pathogens. In almost 30 years there has been no reported incidence with our foods.

Of course there is always risk with any human or animal food and reasonable cleanliness should be employed in food handling.
