Taurine, DL-Methionine, Carnitine, and more.
A common affliction of the domestic feline. This condition has at its source a departure from the natural archetypal diet, a diet high in meat and fat and low in starches/carbohydrates. Commonly, processed cat foods take on the opposite characteristics. A steady diet of such unnatural foods can disrupt natural metabolic balances and manifest in myriad disease syndromes such as urolithiasis and struvite crystal formation.
