Q: What is the difference between Wysong Whole Salt™ and its competitors?

W: Wysong Whole Salt ä is comprised of whole rock salt and sea vegetation (both fresh and derived from ancient geologic sea bed deposits). As a result, Wysong Whole Salt™ contains dozens of trace minerals commonly deficient in modern human and animal processed diets. Also, Whole Salt is not processed and refined as is commercial salt, not does it contain additives as commercial salt does.

Q: Why do you use salt in your pet foods?

W: Wysong Whole Salt™ is not a refined table salt and is not added to increase sodium levels or as a flavor enhancer. We are required to list it as “salt” because we are limited by the definitions and terms determined by AAFCO regulations. Wysong Whole Salt is more properly termed geologically composted sea salt and vegetation. It is an important source of over 74 natural trace minerals in the Wysong foods it is incorporated in to. Incidentally, to test the value of this product, use it yourself for a few weeks as a seasoning. It will be near impossible to return to the refined, additive laden commercial salt.
